QUESTION POSED ON: 05 March 2002

When setting up structural authorizations, what does it mean when you go to "Display Authorization Views" and there are positions/people highlighted in Red? I can't find any documentation on this.

It just shows all of the objects, relationships between objects, and any associated values the assigned user would have visibility to. You see structural authorizations are dependent on evaluation paths (look it up) these evaluation paths define a picture of the OM Organization Structure in HR. When the evaluation path is included in a structural authorization with a object id or a relationship in the org structure (1017), the authorized user will have Organizational access to anything within in his/her view. Note... When using structural authorizations the user must have a normal Role/Profile assigned to them. Great question.
