QUESTION POSED ON: 01 September 2009
I have installed an SAP Business Intelligence (BI) system and created a client within it. When I run the TCode RSA1, I am told that I can only work in client 000. What is causing this message? How can I fix it?

After the installation of the SAP BI system, you need to set up the default SAP BI client. To do this, proceed as follows:

  1. Log on to the SAP system with your new client.
  2. Goto T-Code SE11.
  3. Goto Table "RSADMINA."
  4. Select Contents (Ctrl+Shift+F10).
  5. Execute it.
  6. Double-click on the report (e.g., BW )
  7. In "BWMANDT" field, put in the name of your client and hit Save.
