QUESTION POSED ON: 27 March 2009
I am able to retrieve attachments from a workflow through Function Module SAP_WAPI_GET_ATTACHMENTS, but it's only returning the file name and Object ID. How do you retrieve the content of the attached file?

To read the contents of an SAP Office Mail object (SOFM), you can use Function Module SO_OBJECT_READ, or if it is an attachment to an SAP Office Mail object, you can use SO_ATTACHMENT_READ_API1.
