QUESTION POSED ON: 28 October 2007
How much knowledge of Sun-Solaris is required for an integration of SAP Basis? Also, what additional knowledge is required?

EXPERT RESPONSE
In some SAP customer service centers, different teams are set up to manage the SAP systems. The division is often made between the operating system, the database and the SAP system itself. If you are in such an environment and you are the SAP administrator, basic knowledge of the database and operating should be sufficient.
