QUESTION POSED ON: 14 March 2007
I need to grey out one button from SAP transaction CK40N. What is the best approach? Using BADI or copying an SAP program and twig it?

EXPERT RESPONSE
If there is a user-exit (CMOD, BADI etc.), then this is the method of choice. If there is nothing usable for it, you may consider a small modification in the PBO of the screen. Copying the program is certainly not a good option.
