Does F_LFA1_APP allow restricting of editing authorization at the application level or only viewing access as in the Q/A below?

I have seen a few security roles that gave only display access at application level (F_LFA1_APP) and editing access given at company code and document level objects. Does this restriction work for running of automatic payment transactions or other FI tcodes meant for vendor account maintenance?

EXPERT RESPONSE
F_LFA1_APP works for viewing and editing. There is no need for a user exit to support field level edit restrictions. SAP has delivered functionality that allows this.
