QUESTION POSED ON: 31 July 2006
How does a transport work in the NetWeaver Enterprise Portal in the R/3 system landscape?

>
EXPERT RESPONSE
You create transports for the PCD objects -- iViews, pages, roles, folders, among others -- within the portal. These are then migrated in the portal path to production. The back-end applications -- e.g, SAP -- will be migrated as per the normal transport process for SAP.
