QUESTION POSED ON: 14 July 2006
Would you please tell me how to enhance the datasource on the R/3 side and then transfer the datasource to the BW side? For example, I want to append a field to an extract structure.

Thanks a lot.

EXPERT RESPONSE
The transaction for changing a datasource in the source system is RSO2. After the necessary changes have been made, go to the administrator workbench on the BW side and select source system. Find the application component for this datasource then right click and you will see a 'replicate' option. By selecting that, all the datasources created under this application component will be replicated.
