QUESTION POSED ON: 28 December 2005
I need to evaluate SAP BW for my company, but I don't have experience in data management or data modeling. All of my experience is in ABAP and sales. I want to know how to start -- my company gives me the opportunity to be trained anywhere, but I don't know which courses are suitable for me.

SAP offers many courses on SAP BW in their classrooms, and one particular course covers data modeling. Check out their offerings at http://www.sap.com/usa/education/.

Also of relevance are customized training courses that are done on-site at your company. These courses, while not common, are usually offered at a competitive price to SAP and have obvious benefits (no travel, employees onsite, etc.) Check out www.SAPtips.com for more information on this.
