QUESTION POSED ON: 07 September 2005
According to the installation guide for the HR Data Transfer Toolbox, it is only to be used with R/3 Enterprise. Is it possible (and/or advisable) to upload and use the toolbox to load HR Master and Payroll data into SAP from legacy systems?

Yes, you are always using the legacy system to get the data. Just get the data in the form of the spreadsheets, and the DTT works great.
