SAP has provided many pre-packaged objects, including infocubes and queries. Navigation of Business Content can be done based on the roles. You may check all the associated queries for a role and see what are the standard queries which can be used to identify standard KPIs.

Also, from these roles and queries you can navigate down to infocube, update rules and to the InfoObject level. This will help you identify all the related objects and make the installation easier. Objects can also be viewed by InfoAreas, application components and object types.
