QUESTION POSED ON: 15 April 2005
Can you push the RFI/RFQ capability through SUS with mySAP SRM? I am working with a client that likes the SUS ability with purchase orders, invoices etc. But the client would also like to send all of the RFI/RFQ's thru SUS. Is this possible with SRM?

The RFI/RFQ functionality within SRM is powered by the Bidding Engine, which is part of the solution mySAP Supplier Relationship Management. SAP Bidding Engine is integrated with the sourcing application of the purchaser and the contract processing function in SAP Enterprise Buyer. It can also be integrated with SAP Enterprise Portal, SAP Supplier Self-Services.

SAP Supplier Self-Services allows a single point of access to SAP Bidding Engine through which bidders can submit bids.
