QUESTION POSED ON: 11 January 2005
I'd like to create an ALE linking infotype in one system to different infotype of another system with identical structure and identical fields.

First, verify that the two systems can be connected in SM59. Next build the IDoc for the data you want to move across, write the programs for both, fill in the data on the outbound system and then read the data on the inbound system. Lastly, build the partner profiles and connect the two systems. That's it in a nutshell, and you'll just have to work through the details.
