There's no way to say for sure what the right move is for you. As a general rule, I like the sound of moving into SAP, because I like the idea of wrapping the web skills in an "ERP layer." ERP work tends to be enterprise-wide and "mission critical," and that means that you should be able to achieve a financial premium for your skills. And the good news is that SAP has a range of web-related functions that would allow you to apply your current skills to an SAP environment. If I am reading your skills correctly, it seems like your web-based skills are largely with Microsoft-related tools. The good news is that SAP has a growing number of clients, mostly mid-size companies, running SAP with Microsoft technology and middleware. Therefore, the best way for you to cross over into SAP is to find a job using your current skills with one of these Microsoft/SAP users. These are the companies that will see the most value in your skills and will be most willing to give you your first break in SAP. Of course, your homework will be researching these companies and figuring out which ones might be a fit with your skills and industry background. Let us know how you do!
