SAP does not recommend performing direct table updates to any delivered tables in SAP. The RFC/BAPI layer should provide the appropriate mechanism for updating a business document, which will provide the appropriate table updates. However, if you have custom tables in SAP ("Z" tables) you can write your own custom RFCs to provide direct table updates. Once you have the custom RFC created, simply use JCo to call the RFC from any Java program. Search this site for more information on JCo.
