We have two HR servers, one on 4.6B and the other on 4.6C. We are now migrating all the HR business processes on 4.6C. For this migration we need to migrate the PAYROLL results (Payroll cluster - PCL2) as well. Could you please let us know the mechanism by which we can migrate the payroll cluster data from one server to another? We want ONLY the payroll cluster to be migrated and not the accounting. Is there any standard ALE, BAPI to achieve this? Thanks in advance.

If you want only payroll results I do not believe there is a standard program for this. I took a look but I didn't see any particular ALE definition that would do it automatically. I have a program that is close enough to what you want, so I know that it can be done, but I recommend extreme caution when developing code like this. I use it for transferring data between test systems but would spend a lot of time testing if I wanted to use it for live systems. If you already have the master data done you could basically do a YTD conversion from the old system to the new system for each year of data. That would be safer, but take longer.
