In the BW toolbar what is the purpose of the "Save as View" option?

>
A view is something like a saved navigational state. There are 2 choices: "Save view Global" and "Save view as jump target". The global view can be opened directly using the Business Explorer (BEx) Analyzer. View as jump target can be used within the BEx Analyzer using the GOTO icon. It helps to guide a user through different scenarios. Creating an initial workbook, and then manipulating the data into unique views allows you to recall them later.
