Understand that SAP is going to strengthen its SCM Analytics? What are the analytics application be expected in this area, capabilities and by when? How would they compare with other SCM vendors?

SAP keep on adding wide array of analytics and hard to keep track of new capabilities. SAP, like other vendors, Oracle, PeopleSoft, etc., are also doing the same. Often times, using one vendor's SCM analytics boils down to your primacy mission critical application vendor (SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, etc). I have not seen a comprehensive comparative analysis of SCM analytics offerings by these key vendors. They are still evolving.
