If running SAP Time Management in one SAP system and running SAP Payroll in another SAP system (both same version), at which point and using what method would it be best to extract the Time data? For example, use an ABAP program after time has been approved? Using a BAPI?
A lot of this answer depends on the skill set of the project. There is a standard SAP set of tables used to upload time and this would probably be the best option. Barring that I would consider building an ALE link. The logging functionality provided by ALE eliminates the need to program it in by using the BAPI. Worst-case scenario you could use call transaction assuming you have no other skill set available. This will require an immense amount of logging to verify correctness.
