Will not using HR positions hinder workflows?

My company is thinking about not using positions in HR and just having organizations and jobs. Will this hinder workflows in SAP?

I don't seen any issues with that. SAP workflow will happily route to org units or jobs.

My only comment is: Are you sure? Why are you not using positions? Have you modeled your HR org correctly? This may have some implications down the line for any reporting requirements that you may have.
