What should be covered in a system and acceptance test?

What should be covered in a test case in the system and acceptance test-phase?

System testing could include data and database integrity, application function, user interface, performance, stress, volume, security and access and recovery testing. User acceptance testing could include a walk through of the completed systems for the users, integration of business process and the system including the security profiles and data that are representative of real life scenarios. End user participation is recommended. In both cases a detailed strategy and plan should be developed. Adequate time and resources allocated to this phase of your project. Documented scripts that capture the test results and allow any issues uncovered to be tracked and resolved before implementation. The more testing you can do the better the product and client satisfaction.
