What is Ibase?

An installed base refers to a customer location, where equipments have been installed and services may need to be rendered to support the equipment. It contains information about the equipment that needs to be serviced and other supporting information relevant to a service scenario. Installed base is used to represent the hierarchy levels and trace pieces of equipment from a functional perspective.
