I have heard about COM4ABAP, but couldn't find much information on it. Could you provide me with some explanation...
as to what it is, what is it used for, and maybe something on where I could get more information on this. I've been looking through the search engines, but can't find much help. Thanks a million!
COM4ABAP is used to communicate between SAP and an external system, via DCOM and RFCs. There is a very good article in the March/April issue of the SAP professional journal - see http://www.sappro.com/V3I2A3.html (In the summary of the article, it is stated that COM4ABAP is compatible with SAP 4.0B upwards; we have successfully implemented it on a 31I system).
