sap server '/interfaces'. A log of the data upload is created also in this directory. My Question: Can I add an new entry to the list in AL11 for this 'interfaces' area, allowing users to view the log files from within R/3? I have tried but with no joy - is it possible at all?
This is a very good question and I don't know the answer, yet. When you run AL11 you basically see all the DIR_xxxx parameters in the R/3 system. For example DIR_INSTALL is shown in AL11 because it's defined in the system and it can be looked up in RZ11. I'm sure you can add your own DIR_INTERFACES but I still don't know how. Send me your e-mail so I can keep you posted.
