Using transactional and master data when creating an InfoCube

When we create an InfoCube, we take dimensions along with key figures when we have to load data. Do I have to use two different datasources -- one for transactional and one for master data?

Transaction data will be loaded to the InfoCubes or DSOs depending on the design. You need to have datasources to extract the transaction data. Master data will be loaded to the master data objects. Datasources for master data are mainly for attributes, texts and hierarchies.
