Transfering data between two IDE systems using client copy

How do I do a client copy to file, so I can import it back to another system? Both systems are IDEs and configured the same but are not on the same network.

You can export the client via SCC8 and using profile SAP_ALL or SAP_UAPP. This generates the transport files at the OS level. Then, you can add the transport files to the buffer of target system and finally import the transports.
