Training classes for trainers

Our company is currently on 4.0B and we plan to upgrade next year directly to R/3 E 4.7. What SAP training classes...

do you suggest a trainer should take?

This is a tough question to answer since I don't know the modules that you are using. Note that SAP doesn't exactly offer a general 'training' class, per se. However, if you are adding the "E" to your suite, as in E-services, etc., then you would want to focus on those classes. The trainers need to know the following: the current process and system, the differences between the old and new, and must know the new process and system. And, should be able to competently explain the differences between the old system and business processes and the new system and business processes.
