How do you manage the weaknesses of SAP CRM Pricing? For example: in the utility industry (electricity and gas supply), for B2B customers, it's impossible to work with the IPC without a specific pricing tool. How does SAP justify this lack of functionality?

SAP has improved the price calculations using IPC in SAP CRM 2007. You can have several price versions calculated at item level. It also provides one click interface to "External Calculation Tool". Some of the core price calculations are definitely improved. However, the core challenges of Utility pricing are yet to be completely addressed. You can simulate the price calculation tool by launching the transaction BSP_WD_CMPWB and type component IUICCALC.
