Storing and retrieving word docs in SAP

I want to know how to store a word document in an SAP system and how I can retrieve it.

I recently had a lot of fun with this, and the answer is DOI -- Desktop Office Integration, and BDS - Business Document Service. It's a big topic, so you'll have to do some research. The SAP Professional Journal has had a few articles on these subjects. You'll need to understand using ABAP Objects. The help text on DOI and BDS is quite extensive. The BDS allows you to store and retrieve the document in your SAP system. The DOI allows you to interact with the document -- run macros, print etc.
