Security among multiple companies

If mutiple companies are operated in one client, how can i achive company level security. I know most SAP programs come with "Authority-Check". But, how should the following problem be solved?

2. Add-on programs (does authority-check work fine?)


Since not every authorization object has company code in it, it's not recommended to run multiple company business on the same R3 system even they are on different clients. If you really have to it, enforce strict name convention through configuration so that company code is in every configure object, plant, ship location, HR org, etc.... Customer-developed codes have to implement "authrity-check".
