We are running HP/UX version 11 with SAP 3.1I and would like to know if there is a way to secure the passwd file without moving to trusted Unix? From what I understand, in order to shadow the passwd to make it more secure, we will need to turn on trusted. Until we acquire a package like Axent software, I wanted to secure this file quickly.
