How do I configure the OSS connection through SAP? How do I connect the sapserver FTP site to download some SQL scripts? What is the FTP address of sapserver?
If you already have a connection to SAPNet (formerly known as OSS), you need to configure transaction OSS1.
In R/3, run OSS1 then select Parameter->Technical settings. Then you will need to supply the IP of your closest SAPServX server and the IP of your SAProuter.
To connect to SAPServX you may establish an FTP session at the OS level on the server running the SAProuter service. You can also use an FTP client. You will need the SAPServX name (i.e. SAPServ4) or its IP address.
