Q

SAP SD vs. CRM: Go where the market is going, not where it's been

Learn SAP career expert Jon Reed's advice for certification for SAP SD or CRM.

I would like to be trained in SAP. I have completed my MBA in marketing, and have been working for an IT services company for the past four years. Does it make more sense to do CRM training, or training in Sales and Distribution?
One thing I say often is that when you're trying to break into SAP, always go where the market is going, not where it's been. Why train in SD when there are SD experts out there with ten years of experience and SAP is pushing the best SD-related functionality in the CRM application? I would go for CRM training over SD -- ten times out of ten.
