SAP CRM 4.0 has a lot of functional capabilities when compared to SAP CRM 3.0. SAP CRM 4.0 provides robust enterprise service functionality. SAP CRM 4.0 Service Industry Add On provides simplified service ticket functionality. SAP CRM 4.0 provides an enhanced IC Webclient, which is a browser based call center application. There are several other enhancements in enterprise sales and enterprise marketing areas. SAP CRM 4.0 has strong channel management and an Intellectual Property Management application.

CRM 5.0 application is available as of now. CRM 5.0 has even more capabilities when compared with CRM 4.0.
