Q

Role resolution functionality

When using role resolution, is it possible to send data out of the role's function module to the role container, and then to the workflow container? The function module determines the agent and moves these values to the ACTOR_TAB table. I would like to preserve the 'ACTOR' values to be used later in the workflow.

Doesn't seem like I can set the role container elements to EXPORT to the workflow container.

You are correct. There is no way to return a parameter back from the container of a role.

What I would suggest is to create a custom method which you can call before the task with the role resolution. That custom method could execute the role resolution and return the contents of actor_tab back into your Workflow container. Just be careful that there is no way that the method returns a different set of values then the role resolution.
