Retrieving metadata from SAP

How can I get the list of components available in SAP R/3 using JCo? I am using SWO_QUERY_API_METHDOS RFM for getting BAPI names, Object types, BO names and so on. Is there any RFM that does the job of getting all components and their corresponding RFCs and IDocs?

Retrieving the metadata from SAP correctly is very difficult and requires the use of many different functions. It would take at least half a book to describe this properly. (If you want to try out a metadata server for SAP that does all you ever need, send me an email.)
