Restricting payroll locations

Restricting payroll locations

Our payroll areas are the same as locations -- we have three different locations and each location have two different payroll areas. One of the locations has been sold and those payroll areas are no longer necessary. How can I restrict the use of those payroll areas on infotype 0?

Excellent question. I played around with it a little bit and I believe you could do it via BADI HRPAD00INFTY. You might have to pull some variables off of the stack. That's kind of an undocumented item, though, and hard to explain. I've used it for changing PERSG on 0000 during an action and I think it will work for you.
