We just started using ESS on our 4.6B system. Employees use CATW to do timesheets. Our time administrators use...
tcodes CAPS or CAPP in R/3 to approve time. If the time admin submits CAPS or CAPP with little or no selection criteria then thousands of CATS_ENQUE lock entries are built. This eventually causes system problems. We have a lot of pernrs in our HR system. The time admins do not realize they are building so many lock entries. How do other folks deal with this problem?
I would look at setting up multiple profile names and limit your administrators that way. This allows the administrators to only pull the employees they are responsible for.
