PDF to desktop on R/3 3.1H

We are currently still running SAP R/3 3.1H. Is there a way to download a PDF formatted file to the desktop? This PDF formatted file was originally an OTF for SAPScript.

It depends where you have created the PDF file. If it is currently on your application server, then you need to use standard network tools to transfer the file, e.g. ftp. If, however, you haven't actually created the file anywhere, but it is in an internal table in your program, perhaps after using function module SX_OBJECT_CONVERT_OTF_PDF, then you can use the WS_DOWNLOAD function module, with file type BIN.
