Linux Java problems

I tried the JCo examples and tutorials under WinNT and Linux. With NT everything works fine. Under Linux the javac compiler gives the following error msg with all examples, except with Example1.java (where the JCO.Function class is not used):

    Requires Free Membership to View

Example2.java:90: The class "com.sap.mw.jco.JCO$Function" is not static and can't be construct from "Example2"

When I compile under NT I can use the classes under Linux. Just compiling under Linux doesn't work. Do you have any idea what is the problem?

The Linux JDK 1.2 has all sorts of problems. Please use Java 1.3 on Linux.
