Q

Is Netweaver EP/XI suitable for a software engineer

I was a software engineer for 2 years. I worked with Java, JSP, servlets etc. Presently I am in a non-IT field. I wish to switch to the IT field again but involving SAP this time. Do do you think Netweaver EP/XI would be suitable for me as I have a Java background or I should go for ABAP/4?

Since you have 2 years experience in Java, I think that it's better to go towards the Enterpraise Portal (EP) area. The reason for this is EP needs Java programming skills for JSP and Servlets. However, once you learn the basics of JSP and Servelets then its time to shift to SAP Netweaver E.P.
