Integrating J2EE with SAP R/3

I have a J2EE e-procurement application to integrate with SAP R/3. What is the most efficient & secure way to carry...

out this integration? From what I understand I have several options including CORBA and the new SAP Java connector.

I recommend the SAP Java Connector (JCo, download from service.sap.com/connectors) which has been used successfully in numerous products and projects. SAP's CA926 class teaches the details, if the Javadoc is not enough for you. If you want to make your life easier, you can email me to get an evaluation copy of the ARAsoft Java BAPI ObjectFactory that facilitates many common programming tasks around SAP/Java integration.
