Installing a SAP router

We started to install and develop a SAP solution, where I am responsible for the installation and configuration of the SAP router. I started with Linux Redhat but I can't find the files for this purpose, and the files I do have seems to have a segmentation fault.
The SAP router executable comes with the kernel install CD's and should be located in the /sapmnt/[SID]/exe directory after installation. The updated executables can be found on service.sap.com/patches -> SAP R/3 -> [Version] -> Binary Patches -> [Appropriate kernel] -> [Operating System] -> Database independent.

The installation guides are at service.sap.com/instguides. I also found a pretty good OSS note, number 30289, available at service.sap.com/sapnotes.
