Hannah Smalltree, Editorial DirectorDefinitely. In SAPGUI 4.6x (including D), launch SAPLogon, click on the
control box (upper-left corner) and select About SAPGUI. The next screen
will display the Release version and the File version.
The number after the first portion of the version indicates the
compilation number.
Examples:
A file version like this 4640.3.0.8842 indicates that
this is SAPGUI 4.6D compilation 3.
Version 4640.2.0.2112 indicates that this is SAPGUI 4.6D compilation 2.
The "40" after "46" indicates that this is version "D".
Also, notice that the SAPFrontEnd CD tells you the compilation number.
Additionally, you can open the "readme.txt" that comes on the CD
for more information.
