I have to join RosettaNet to send a PO via RosettaNet?

One of our key suppliers has indicated that he would like to receive our electronic PO (IDoc output from SAP R/3 MM) which we are currently sending out to our suppliers in cXML format. He would like us to send the PO via his communication link which is RosettaNet. He has indicated that our data set should be OCI compliant.

What would we need to do to change our iDOC or XI-cXML output package to forward via RosettaNet? Do we have to join RosettaNet to be able to send our PO package via RosettaNet?

When we talk of RosettaNet, we're talking about a standards based industry organization/consortium. Yes, you'll have to join the RosettaNet community. Not only does RosettaNet provide a standard on how to build ur business documents in a specific XML format, but as there is a host of organizations that have joined RosettaNet, it acts as a connection point from one business partner to another.

Although, you would expect to get much information on their website, I like a supplier site that Intel has created. It contains valuable information that you can use to move forward on this path. See the following link:
