How to merge two SAP instances into one

Learn how to merge two SAP instances into one using transaction RE_RHMOVE30. Alon Raskin, workflow expert, describes how.

I'm trying to merge two SAP instances into one. I'd like to find out how to merge the workflow organization unit, so I need to transport the organization unit from one system to another. I have never transported an organization unit without making any changes to it. Can you tell me how?
You can use transaction RE_RHMOVE30. This will allow you to specify a customizing transport which you can use to move the HR org objects. You should be careful of overwriting org objects in the target systems.
