How to limit employee access to reports using roles in SAP NetWeaver

Using roles in SAP Business Information Warehouse/NetWeaver BI, is there a way to configure permissions to run only selected reports? For example, I do not want my division employees to have the ability to run corporate-wide reports. Is there a function that allows for this level of granularity?

Yes, it is possible to limit the access to the reports or data within the same reports. This can be accomplished using the roles in SAP NetWeaver BI 7.0. With the new authorization concepts, the setup for analysis authorization and data level authorization has been made easier.
