We have CRM 4.0. We are not connected to our R/3 system. We want to be able to create a simple order in CRM, but CRM is not configured with any materials. We have been unable to create any materials. In order to create a test material we need a category. We created a category and a hierarchy, but the category doesn't show when we try to create a material. Is there any documentation on creating a new material in CRM? Thoughts?

The category/hierarchy must be assigned to the application. The category shows up in the assigned application, like material, service, purchase etc.
