How do BAPIs differ from RFC? RFC Function model have a remote access facility, so why did SAP develop BAPI?
BAPIs are a subset of RFCs, that can be accessed through transaction BAPI (Business Object Repository). The interface of a BAPI is more restricted than for a function module. SAP guarantees not to change the BAPI interfaces over a couple of releases.
