Help diagnosing a short dump in BW 3.5

Help diagnosing a short dump in BW 3.5

Our BW system is 3.5 and our DB is Oracle 9i. We get a short dump when we go into RSA1 and then click on the PSA icon in the modeling window. We have done hours of debugging, but we can't find out why it should be dumping. The dump now keeps showing up with other activities like infosource searching.

This is a very difficult question to help you out with unless I can see your short dump error and know which support pack and/or OSS notes are applied to your system. Generically I would advise you to check your current configuration against released support packs and apply any missing OSS notes, etc.
